Wrong Train Official Video

Just now The Psychedelic Furs released the music video for "Wrong Train" and I remember back in September or October the band mentioned a video would be made for the song. Then some time later a behind the scenes clip for the music video was posted on Richard Butler's Instagram, and it showed Richard sitting in front of the camera smearing paint on his face. After that I hadn't heard more information about the video, until last Friday The Furs announced it would premiere a few days later (which is today).

The "Wrong Train" video was filmed in black and white and it mainly shows Richard Butler up close with his face covered in paint, him typing on a typewriter, and shots of him singing. The music video was directed by Hans Neleman and according to NME he was inspired by Richard Butler's own paintings. The video is awesome, Richard Butler looks absolutely great, and I have to say it is better than the music video for "Come All Ye Faithful" to be honest.

Here's The Psychedelic Furs' tweet which has the link to the music video. https://twitter.com/pfurs/status/1366366158442569729

By the way, the scenes of Richard with the paint totally reminds me of the album cover of Love Spit Love's Trysome Eatone.

I'll pretend you wanted to
We wear these little things away
In the end, there's nothing left to say"
