Earlier today The Psychedelic Furs posted the new dates for some of the rescheduled shows which will take place this Fall, and said that more shows will be revealed soon. With The Furs posting this I take it that Tim Butler is recovering well from the surgery and I hope he will be in good shape when the tour starts.

We Are Scientists will still open for The Psychedelic Furs and since more concerts are going to be announced I'm hoping Portland will be one of them.

Happy 70th Birthday Richard Butler

Today I would like to wish a very happy birthday to Richard Butler, who turns 70 on this special day.

As I've mentioned many times on this blog, The Psychedelic Furs made an impact on my life in so many ways and if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

Thank you Richard for bringing The Psychedelic Furs' music into our lives, and hope you have a wonderful birthday. <3

On one of my recent posts about the tour cancellations I mentioned how I saw an article from Variety who stated a representative of The Psychedelic Furs said one of the members had to have surgery. When I saw the article I wasn't sure about it since it's hard to believe anything the media says in this day and age. Well, it turned out Variety was right, because today The Psychedelic Furs posted on social media and they wrote that Tim Butler went through triple-bypass heart surgery and is currently recovering from it. I am relieved to finally hear the news about what happened and I pray that Tim will have a full recovery. Sending all my love and best wishes to him. <3
