Concert Ads #15

The Psychedelic Furs played two gigs at The Nashville Room in London, England on November 29 and 30, 1979. On the first night the support act was Subliminal Squad, and the second was Soul Boys. The concerts were a disaster, and here's an excerpt from the PFurs biography Beautiful Chaos, page 87:

"Massively over-crowded within, bad-tempered latecomers clogging the North End Road outside, both shows were a total fiasco, marred by bad sound, scarred by zero security.
"The first night, flying glass from the audience struck [Vince] Ely while he was playing; the second, the manager of the support band, The Soul Boys, laid his fists into [Duncan] Kilburn."

Tickets were £1.50. The November 30th concert happened on John Ashton's 22nd birthday.
