Upcoming Tour & Other Things

With the tour going to start in almost a week it makes me excited about seeing new concert pictures of The Psychedelic Furs performing, what the setlist will be like, and who will join the band as a secondary guitarist for the tour. I wonder if Richard Fortus or Peter DiStefano will return, or if it will be a different musician this time. I wish The Psychedelic Furs an amazing time and safe travels, and I just hope that Tim Butler is doing okay and in good health.

As of today Blog of Days has reached over 180,000 views and I wish I can be happy about it, but honestly I don't know if any of these views are legit. I'm worried that some of the views might be from bots, which I really hope that is not the case, but sadly you never know in this day and age. It's a shame because I want my blog to be viewed by real people, real fans of The Psychedelic Furs and their music.

A week ago I finished Tim Pope's new book I Shoot Rock Stars and the book is really good, but I'm kind of disappointed that Tim didn't talk about working with The Psychedelic Furs more. In the book he wrote about seeing The Psychedelic Furs in concert, and the "Love My Way" video was briefly mentioned as well as the videos for "The Ghost In You" and "Here Come Cowboys". Unfortunately there was no mention of the video for "Heaven" and I wish it was included in the book. Tim mainly wrote about working with The Cure, Neil Young, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Soft Cell, Queen, and other musicians/bands.

Anyway, to any of you who are going to see The Psychedelic Furs in concert, hope you all have an awesome time!
