Well, it's finally here! Earlier today The Psychedelic Furs posted the dates for their Summer tour and they will perform in the US and Canada from July to August. To my excitement The Furs are going to Portland on August 1st and they're coming back to the Crystal Ballroom! The Crystal Ballroom was the venue where I saw them for the first time, and I'm really happy they're going back to that place. I hope I will see The Furs again, and on a future blog post I will let you all know if I'm going. Fingers crossed!
Supporting act for the tour will be James and honestly I'm not really familiar with their music, but I know how they toured a few times with The Smiths back in the 80s. It's really cool seeing all these 80s bands open for The Psychedelic Furs, and so far during the three concerts I had attended, I saw The Church (twice) and Robyn Hitchcock. Last year X was the support act but unfortunately I didn't get to see The Furs that Summer.
