2024 Tour

The Psychedelic Furs had recently announced the dates for the first portion of the 2024 tour in April and May, and so far they are going to Australia, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, and California. This week they revealed that Richard Fortus will join them on the tour, which is so cool. I'm looking forward to finding out what songs they will add to the setlist. I'm hoping they will add a couple or few Made Of Rain songs that had never been performed before, and/or "Evergreen".

There is something on my mind and it makes me wonder if, now that Mars Williams is sadly gone, The Psychedelic Furs will hire a new saxophonist or do their concerts without one. That is up to them to make that decision, but I have to say the saxophone is one of the key musical instruments at their concerts, and not having the saxophone just wouldn't be the same.

Before I go I want to mention that this year is the fifth anniversary of my blog, and I am trying to figure out what to write about to celebrate it. It's hard trying to come up with something though, especially since I would always be tired from work. I don't know when the blog post will come out but I will try to think of something.
